Arthur McDermott

I am a photographer based between Thame, Oxfordshire and Coventry, currently in my second year of a BA Photography degree. Self-taught for seven years, I have built a diverse practice through self-driven projects and professional experience across documentary and journalistic photography, skate photography, live music and nightclub photography, as well as nature and street photography.

My work focuses on visual storytelling and documenting people, culture, and environment. I produced and self-published Boards Ov' Cov', a photobook documenting Coventry’s skate community, photographed and produced independently. Alongside this, I have gained professional videography experience at Wickham Festival, filming artists including Jerry Douglas, Curtis Stigers, and Tony Christie.
